Find Lists of Registered Appraisal Management Companies

Looking for a list of appraisal management companies (AMCs) in your state? Each appraisal state agency should keep a roster of all of the appraisal management companies in that state. If you’re hoping to get more appraisal assignments, contacting AMCs in your area and getting on their rosters is a great start. 

When contacting AMCs, you should be ready to submit the following information:

• Copy of work samples
• Copy of license
• Resume/qualifications
• Type of properties served (include a specialty niche)
• Service area
• Typical fee

How to find a list of AMCs in your area:

1. Choose a state.
2. Find the state’s appraisal regulation board (you can find state contact information on the Appraisal Subcommittee website).
3. Search the state board’s website, or contact them to see if a list of AMCs is available.
