California real estate license reciprocity does not exist with any other states.
Military Portability- Active-duty service members or their spouses with a professional license from another U.S. state, district, or territory can use their license in California upon relocation due to military orders.
- Through the duration of the military orders, the license will be considered valid in California for a similar scope of practice.
- The license must have been actively used 2 years before the relocation.
- No fee is required for this registration.
