Requirements for Out-of-State Endorsement:

  • You can apply through the Endorsement process if you have an active real estate license in another state.
  • The Commission will review your application and out-of-state license to determine if it meets Indiana's requirements.
Military Portability Requirements:
  • Hold a current license, certification, registration, or permit from another jurisdiction with requirements substantially equivalent to or exceeding Indiana's standards
  • Demonstrate competency through board-approved methods, such as completing continuing education or having recent experience for at least two of the past five years
  • Have not committed any act that would have been grounds for license refusal, suspension, or revocation in Indiana
  • In good standing with no disciplinary actions from the issuing agency
  • Pay the required fees for licensure, certification, registration, or permit
