Kaplan Appraisal Education and appraisal authors Jeffrey Johnson and Tony Lesicka have announced a new partnership to implement real-world appraisal examples from the pair’s popular textbook into a new appraisal continuing education course.
The book, “Real Estate Appraisal Practice: A Collection of Examples,” consists of 142 examples based on actual real estate narrative appraisal reports. The examples will serve to bring the curriculum to life in a new live appraisal CE course, “Making Adjustments in an Appreciating Market—12 Proven Strategies.”
This course is designed to take the guesswork out of the adjustment process through teaching mastery in 12 simple, field-proven strategies. According to Johnson, the examples selected for inclusion in the course will offer value to both seasoned real estate appraisers and less experienced professionals.
“These examples demonstrate appraisal procedures that can be applied to many different real property types,” Johnson said. “They show proven techniques that real appraisers are currently using, with unlimited applicability.”
