This real estate course fulfills the requirements for Wisconsin’s 2025–2026 continuing
education curriculum as an elective. Unit 1 topics include common issues related to fees and commissions. Unit 2 looks at the source of commissions, potential issues over
commission payment disputes, and the options for working toward dispute resolution. Unit 3 compares fixtures and personal property to manage buyer and seller expectations, explains buyer and seller protections in the marketing sections of offer documents, and strategies to avoid disputes at closing.

This course includes the following elective topics: Incentives in Wisconsin Real Estate Transactions (1 Credit-Hour), Commissions and Dispute Resolution in the Wisconsin Listing Contracts (1 Credit-Hour), and Personal Property and Fixtures in Wisconsin Transactions (1 Credit-Hour).

The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services requires that in addition to Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4, Wisconsin real estate licensees must complete two half-day elective courses by the end of the current biennium from December 15th of every even year to December 14th of every even year.
