DC Legislative Update (3-Credit Hours)

This 3-hour Washington DC continuing education course provides District of Columbia real estate licensees with a clear guide to the latest changes in legal and ethical standards. Students will learn how the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics serves as the official DC Code of Ethics and how to apply these rules to protect clients. The training covers essential updates on fair housing, the 2024 NAR settlements, and new rental laws like “Roscoe’s Law.” By the end of this course, students will understand how to follow complex local ordinances and avoid common scams in today’s market.
