If you are a broker-in-charge who is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, you can complete your Code of Ethics and Fair Housing requirements with this continuing education package. It features two required South Carolina real estate courses and two mandatory NAR courses.
This Package Includes:
- REQUIRED 2024-2026 South Carolina Core Course: Legal Hot Tips Online Video Course (4 Credit Hours): This 4-hour, Online Video course meets South Carolina’s mandatory core requirements for continuing education in the 2024–2026 license renewal period. Based on mandatory content from the South Carolina Real Estate Commission, the course is delivered in short sections that you can take one section at a time or all at once, and includes a downloadable student course workbook, as provided by the South Carolina Real Estate Commission.
- REQUIRED South Carolina Broker in Charge Duties and Responsibilities Online Video Course (4 Credit Hours): This four-hour online video real estate course is based on mandatory content from the South Carolina Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation. The course is delivered in short sections that can be easily taken one at a time or all at once. Following the instruction by Attorney and Real Estate Broker Carol Simpson, you will understand the eight duties required of you as a broker-in-charge in South Carolina.
- 2025/2027 Association Ethics Online Course (3 Credit Hours)*: Based on Everyday Ethics in Real Estate, this South Carolina course presents the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics and information on making ethical decisions in a 3-hour format that can be used to fulfill NAR’s real estate ethics training requirement. Through an in-depth discussion of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, you will be able to understand the responsibilities and duties required of REALTORS® and how the code can be used as a guide to proper conduct for all real estate practitioners. It includes case studies and interpretations based on actual situations of alleged unethical conduct.
- Fair Housing Online Course (3 Credit Hours)*: Today’s real estate practitioner must establish business practices that comply with fair housing laws and offer equal professional service to all. Consistency, objectivity, and documentation are critical in accomplishing this objective. This 3-hour SC course includes the topics pertinent to fair housing in today's real estate world including law, and diversity and unconscious bias.
*These courses were designed to meet the code of ethics and fair housing training requirements for members of the National Association of REALTORS®. You must confirm that your local board or association of REALTORS® will accept these courses, and you must provide proof of course completion to the board or association.
