Oklahoma Deed Theft (1-Credit Hour)

To address fraud involving real property ownership around deed and title theft, Oklahoma passed legislation (Senate Bills 877 and 925). The Oklahoma Real Estate Commission requires completion of this 1-hour continuing education course about this issue and the two Senate Bills.

This course defines deed and title theft, provides examples of common fraud schemes and red flags, and explains best practices to protect consumers and comply with laws regarding deed theft.
