This course must be completed by all non-BIC or non-BIC-eligible North Carolina real estate licensees who wish to renew their licenses for the 2025-2026 license year and provides 4 of the 8 hours of continuing education required each year. A student manual supplement is included with the course.
  • Living with HOAs: The Good, the Bad, and the Legalities In-Person Class (4 Credit Hours): This 4-hour continuing education class provides North Carolina real estate licensees with essential knowledge for navigating transactions involving Homeowners Associations (HOAs). You will learn your fiduciary duties, how to identify and disclose material facts related to HOAs, and the legal and financial implications for both buyers and sellers in HOA-governed communities. By the end of this class, you will be better equipped to serve clients effectively and ethically when dealing with HOA properties.
