This real estate course fulfills the requirements of Wisconsin’s 2023–2024 continuing education curriculum for Course 4: Wisconsin Disclosures, Advertising, and Fair Housing. It delves into Wisconsin legislation related to advertising and marketing. You will learn the legal and ethical requirements for advertising (e.g., inclusion of the firm’s name), disclosure, and contracts. Topics also include fair housing laws and practices, protected classes, and implicit bias as well as disclosure requirements and compliance. The final exam is 15 multiple-choice items.

This course includes the following mandatory topics: Advertising for Wisconsin Real Estate Licensees (1 Credit-Hour), Fair Housing in Wisconsin Transactions (1 Credit-Hour), and Seller and Licensee Disclosure in Wisconsin Transactions (1 Credit-Hour).

The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services requires that in addition to Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4, Wisconsin real estate licensees must complete two half-day elective courses by the end of the current biennium from 12/15 of every even year to 12/14 of every even year.
