  • REQUIRED 7/1/26—6/30/27 SALESPERSON & BROKER REQUIRED MODULE: Cybersecurity in Real Estate Course (3.75 Credit Hours): Specifically designed for Minnesota salespersons and brokers, this 3.75-hour mandatory continuing education course provides real estate professionals with essential knowledge and practical strategies to protect clients and transactions in an increasingly digital environment. Students will explore common cybersecurity threats such as phishing, wire fraud, data breaches, and malware, while learning how these risks impact real estate transactions and client data. By the end of the course, participants will be better equipped to prevent cyber incidents, protect client information, and fulfill their legal and ethical responsibilities to clients in a world full of digital transactions. This 3.75-hour module will satisfy the 1-hour broker module training requirement as required in §82.61(i) for 2026–2027 (in other words, there will be no separate 1-hour broker module course for 2026–2027). Completion of this course will NOT satisfy the 1-hour of Fair Housing OR the 1-hour of Agency Law as required in §82.61.(c)(1)(2).
  • Artificial Intelligence, Real Responsibility Course (4 Credit Hours):  As AI transforms the industry, it’s critical to understand how existing license laws, advertising rules, and fair housing regulations apply to automated tools. This course focuses on the legal responsibilities, data privacy standards, and the risks to consider when using AI in your daily practice. Through real-world case studies, you’ll learn more about the legal boundaries of AI-generated marketing, virtual staging disclosures, and tenant screening software. This course has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for 4 hours of real estate continuing education.
