Fulfill Your 20 Hours of Mandatory Topics Required for Your Broker First Renewal
The California Department of Real Estate requires 20 hours of mandatory education topics as part of your first license renewal (45 hours total). Our 17-hour First Renewal Course will satisfy your ethics, agency, trust fund handling, fair housing, risk management and implicit bias topic requirements. In addition, you’ll fulfill your management and supervision broker-only requirement with our Broker Management and Supervision Course.
This Package Includes:
- REQUIRED Broker Management and Supervision Course (3 Credit Hours): Effective January 1, 2016, all broker licensees are required to complete a 3-hour continuing education course in the management of real estate offices and in supervision of real estate activities. This course will provide an overview of broker management and supervision, proper filing and maintenance of documents, proper handling of trust funds, advertising services for which a license is required, familiarizing salespeople with the requirements of discrimination laws, and the roles and responsibilities of branch and division managers.

CalDRE Sponsor No.6212. - REQUIRED California 17-Hour First Renewal Course (17 Credit Hours)*: This 17-hour suite of courses fulfills the mandatory education topics required for your first renewal. You’ll gain an increased understanding of agency law, federal and state fair housing laws, ethical behavior in real estate practice, legal and regulatory requirements for receiving and handling trust funds, how to minimize risks in your real estate practice, and implicit bias.
