Kaplan's licensing program consists of three 30-hour courses to fulfill the salesperson educational requirement. The first is Course I, which is offered via live online classroom or online instruction. It covers the basic principles of Minnesota real estate. Once you have completed Course I, we encourage you to take the License Exam Preparation course that is offered via live classroom or online instruction. After the exam, Course II and Course III will teach you the necessities of doing business as a real estate agent. Once you have successfully completed your education with Kaplan, contact the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs at 1-888-LinkVet (1-888-546-5838) to find out if you qualify to have your tuition, exam and licensing fees reimbursed through the Minnesota GI Bill. Prior to applying* for reimbursement, you must complete all licensing requirements and possess your license or certification.
