With 24/7 access to the Student Community, you’ll always have support when it counts. And with the Kaplan Commitment, if you don’t pass your licensing exam on the first try, Kaplan will continue to support you with personalized study guidance, instructor access, and exam prep tools at no additional cost for up to 18 months.

Proctored Final Exam: The Minnesota Department of Commerce requires a proctored final exam for your real estate licensing course. You will need to arrange for a proctor, who is someone who will make sure you take the test without outside assistance. Your real estate exam must be proctored by a disinterested third party (at least 18 years of age) with no financial or emotional interest in your passing the exam. Your supervisor, a subordinate, a family member, or a fellow student completing the same course may not serve as your exam proctor. If you are unable to secure a disinterested third party to proctor your final exam, Kaplan offers Virtual Classroom Proctoring for a $29 per-session fee.

Licensing Course(s)
Courses include Minnesota 30-Hour Salesperson Prelicense Course I, Minnesota 30-Hour Salesperson Prelicense Course II, and Minnesota 30-Hour Salesperson Prelicense Course III. Each course has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for real estate prelicense education.
Kaplan Commitment to Pass: We’re confident that with your dedication and our proven real estate licensing program, you’ll pass your state exam the first time. If you do not pass after completing our program, we’ll continue to support your studies at no cost to you through the Kaplan Commitment. Our instructors will help you create a personalized study plan, and you’ll continue to have access to our exam prep tools and instructors for up to 18 months as long as you continue your studies. Length of access may be shorter and is dependent upon your state’s regulations. Students should check the state’s regulatory website in which they seek licensure to learn the maximum study time. The continued enrollment without additional charge is the Kaplan Commitment to help you pass the exam. It cannot be transferred to others. The refund policy for the original enrollment does not apply to the continuation.
