If you are a salesperson who is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, you can complete your Code of Ethics and Fair Housing requirements with this continuing education package. It features one required Virginia real estate course and two mandatory NAR courses.
This Package Includes:
- REQUIRED Virginia 11-Hour Mandatory Topics CE Online Course (11 Credit Hours): Designed to meet Virginia’s 11-hour mandatory continuing education requirements, this online course addresses state-specific material on contracts, Fair Housing, agency, and legal updates and emerging trends, as well as the federal Fair Housing Act and the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics. This VA real estate course covers 3 hours of ethics and standards of conduct; 2 hours of Fair Housing; 2 hours of legal updates and emerging trends, including flood hazard areas and the NFIP; 2 hours of real estate agency; and 2 hours of real estate contracts.
- 2025/2027 Association Ethics Online Course (3 Credit Hours)*: Based on Everyday Ethics in Real Estate, this Utah course presents the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics and information on making ethical decisions in a 3-hour format that can be used to fulfill NAR’s real estate ethics training requirement. Through an in-depth discussion of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, you will be able to understand the responsibilities and duties required of REALTORS® and how the code can be used as a guide to proper conduct for all real estate practitioners. It includes case studies and interpretations based on actual situations of alleged unethical conduct.
- Fair Housing Online Course (2 Credit Hours)*: Today’s real estate practitioner must establish business practices that comply with fair housing laws and offer equal professional service to all. Consistency, objectivity, and documentation are critical in accomplishing this objective. This 2-hour VA course includes the topics pertinent to fair housing in today's real estate world including law, and diversity and unconscious bias.

You must confirm that your local board or association of REALTORS® will accept these courses, and you must provide proof of course completion to the board or association.
