2026 18-Hour NM Qualifying Broker Required CE
Obtain Part of Your Renewal Period Required Courses with This Package
With this package, you will complete your required Qualifying Broker refresher course, an ethics course, a core elective that can also be used as part of your renewal period property management requirements, and your 2026 NMREC mandatory core course.
This package includes:
- REQUIRED New Mexico Qualifying Broker Refresher Live Online Class (6-Credit Hours)*: All qualifying brokers must take the Qualifying Broker Refresher course to renew their real estate license. Even qualifying brokers who are otherwise exempt from mandatory continuing education must take this course. This course does not count for any CE credit hours toward your 36-hour renewal requirement. It is important to note that the Qualifying Broker Refresher is just that—a refresher course. This course is not a thorough teaching on any one topic, but rather a review of information that qualifying brokers should understand.
The course category is mandatory.
- REQUIRED 2026 NMREC Core Course Live Online Class (4-Credit Hours)*: This course is designed to teach the professional responsibility of the real estate licensee in every aspect of the real estate transaction. Upon completion, you will have an advanced understanding of your responsibilities to the NMREC, all parties to a transaction, and to your fellow brokers. Learn to recognize your role as more than a facilitator of a purchase, sale or lease transaction, by acknowledging your position as a key professional in an industry that underpins a vital aspect of New Mexico's economy and culture.
The course category is mandatory.
2025/2027 Association Ethics Online Course (3-Credit Hours)**: Based on Everyday Ethics in Real Estate, this online New Mexico course presents the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics and information on making ethical decisions in a 3-hour format that can be used to fulfill NAR’s real estate ethics training requirement. Through an in-depth discussion of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, you will be able to understand the responsibilities and duties required of REALTORS® and how the code can be used as a guide to proper conduct for all real estate practitioners. It includes case studies and interpretations based on actual situations of alleged unethical conduct.
IMPORTANT: This course must be completed by 11:59 pm CT on December 31, 2027 in order to obtain the continuing education credit.
The course category is ethics.
- Fair Housing Online Course (4-Credit Hours): As a real estate professional, you must contend with ever-increasing regulations. Although the Federal Fair Housing Act has been in force for more than 50 years, the way it is applied to everyday real estate continues to evolve. Learn what you need to know to make sure you are following the law. This online course applies the law to today’s marketplace, including fair housing issues commonly found in property management and advertising. From cultural diversity to fair housing enforcement actions, this comprehensive course provides a new look at prohibited conduct and offers some practical applications to help keep you in compliance.
The course category is elective. This course counts for Property Management requirements.
*IMPORTANT: All students attending a live online class must have their webcams enabled and remain in view of their camera for the entire duration of the class.
