This real estate course fulfills the requirements for Wisconsin’s 2025–2026 continuing
education curriculum. Unit 1 topics include important aspects of buyer agency in Wisconsin such as the buyer agency agreement (WB-36), variations in representation relationships, and the advantages of buyer agency. Unit 2 looks at contract drafting including important dates, deadlines, and parties and how to use approved forms. Unit 3 covers what happens when a transaction does not close, with topics including laws related to amending a real estate condition report, Wisconsin Offer to Purchase, and disbursement of earnest money.
This course includes the following mandatory topics: Buyer Agency in Wisconsin (1 Credit-Hour), Contract Drafting in Wisconsin (1 Credit-Hour) and When the Wisconsin Transaction Does Not Close(1 Credit-Hour).
The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services requires that in addition to Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4, Wisconsin real estate licensees must complete two half-day elective courses by the end of the current biennium from December 15th of every even year to December 14th of every even year.
This course has been approved by the Minnesota Department of Commerce for 3 hours of real estate continuing education. This course also satisfies the 1 hour of Agency Law as required in § 82.61.(c) (1) (2).
