If you are a managing broker who is also a member of the National Association of REALTORS®, you can also complete your Code of Ethics and Fair Housing requirements with this continuing education package. It features three required Illinois real estate courses and two mandatory NAR courses.

This Package Includes:

  • REQUIRED Illinois Broker Management Online Course (12 Credit Hours): This 12-hour course is designed to equip real estate brokers with the skills and knowledge needed to successfully manage a brokerage and lead a team. By completing this course, you will meet your Illinois managing broker education requirements while gaining practical strategies to build and protect a productive real estate business. Better understand your responsibilities as managing brokers and prepare yourself to handle real-world challenges with confidence.
  • REQUIRED Illinois Core Continuing Education Online Course (6 Credit Hours): This 6-hour course for Illinois managing brokers satisfies the Illinois requirement for core curriculum. The course meets the requirements of the required state outline. The 6-hour course is required after June 30, 2025, and includes 2 hours of Fair Housing training. This online course is for students who prefer self-paced, interactive, online content.
  • REQUIRED Sexual Harassment Prevention Training Online Course (1 Credit Hour): This 1-hour, online continuing education course fulfills the new Illinois sexual harassment prevention training requirement. You will learn about federal and Illinois state laws that prohibit all types of harassment, including sexual harassment, the two different types of sexual harassment and examples of each, and how to report an incident at your place of employment and with federal and state authorities.
  • 2025/2027 Association Ethics Online Course (3 Credit Hours)*: Based on Everyday Ethics in Real Estate, this Illinois course presents the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics and information on making ethical decisions in a 3-hour format that can be used to fulfill NAR’s real estate ethics training requirement. Through an in-depth discussion of the Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice, you will be able to understand the responsibilities and duties required of REALTORS® and how the code can be used as a guide to proper conduct for all real estate practitioners. It includes case studies and interpretations based on actual situations of alleged unethical conduct.
  • Fair Housing Online Course (2 Credit Hours)*: Today’s real estate practitioner must establish business practices that comply with fair housing laws and offer equal professional service to all. Consistency, objectivity, and documentation are critical in accomplishing this objective. This 2-hour IL course includes the topics pertinent to fair housing in today's real estate world including law, and diversity and unconscious bias. 

*These courses were designed to meet the code of ethics and fair housing training requirements for members of the National Association of REALTORS®. You must confirm that your local board or association of REALTORS® will accept these courses, and you must provide proof of course completion to the board or association.
