Applicants that apply for a salesperson (agent) license on or after September 1, 2012 are required to complete 180 credit hours (12 semester hours) of core education consisting of: Texas Real Estate Principles, Texas Agency Law, Texas Contract Law, Texas Promulgated Contract Forms and Addenda, and Texas Real Estate Finance.
