This real estate course fulfills the requirements for Wisconsin’s 2025–2026 continuing
education curriculum. Unit 1 topics include the application of the inspection contingency, state requirements for the Inspection Report, and the purposes of Wisconsin notices and amendments. Unit 2 looks at antitrust law and how it pertains to real estate, the roles and responsibilities of the Department of Justice, and implications for licensee under the WB listing contract and the NAR Code of Ethics related to compensation and payments. Unit 3 covers loan commitments, financing contingencies, and cash offers, the appraisal contingency, and mortgage fraud and licensee duties under REEB 24.07.
This course includes the following mandatory topics: Inspection and Testing in the Wisconsin Offers to Purchase (1 Credit-Hour), Antitrust for Wisconsin Licensees (1 Credit-Hour), and Financing and Appraisal in the Wisconsin Offer to Purchase (1 Credit-Hour).
The Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services requires that in addition to Courses 1, 2, 3, and 4, Wisconsin real estate licensees must complete two half-day elective courses by the end of the current biennium from December 15th of every even year to December 14th of every even year.
