New Mexico offers partial reciprocity with these states: Massachusetts, Louisiana, and Georgia

- Submit application
- Provide proof of licensure history
- A person not licensed to practice real estate in New Mexico must pass the real estate broker’s examination as prescribed by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission
- All other states must go through the complete licensing process
Military Portability
- A board may issue a temporary or provisional license, including an expedited license valid for 1 year, to individuals licensed in another jurisdiction
- State agencies shall provide provisional licenses to military spouses within 30 days of application if the spouse holds a license in good standing from another jurisdiction
- Licensing fees are waived for the first 3 years

- Proof of experience (3 years for non-supervising, 5 for supervising) and proof of transactions
