Reciprocity

Georgia offers full reciprocity in all states except Florida.

  • Steps to Real Estate License Reciprocity in Georgia
    1. Provide proof of an active license in good standing from any state
      • License must have been obtained by passing an examination
    2. Submit a background check
    3. Complete the Lawful Presence Verification Form
    4. Pay fee of $170
    5. Complete the application process

      For Florida:
      Pass the Georgia Law and Practice exam

Military Portability

  • Applicants with at least 1 year of active-duty service in the U.S. armed forces or reserves, including the National Guard, and a minimum of 90 days served during wartime or a conflict authorized by the President are eligible for a five-point credit on their exam score
  • Disabled applicants who served under similar conditions, were discharged due to an injury or illness incurred in the line of duty, and have a disability rating of less than 10% are also entitled to a five-point credit on their exam scor
