Arkansas Real Estate Licensing Information, Reciprocity, and Portability

Reciprocity
Arkansas offers partial reciprocity with the following states:
- Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, South Dakota, Washington, and West Virginia
- Steps to Real Estate License Reciprocity in Arkansas:
- Request a waiver of the general portion of the exam
- Pass the Arkansas law portion of the exam
- Provide proof of an active license in good standing
- The minimum score received in the current state must be at least 70% on the national exam
- Submit the required documentation and fees
Military Portability
- Automatic licensure for a broker or salesperson to individuals who hold a substantially equivalent license in another U.S. jurisdiction and who are any of the following:
- Active-duty military members stationed in Arkansas
- Returning military veterans applying within 1 year of discharge
- Spouses of the individuals listed above
- Pay the initial licensing fee
- Provide proof of a substantially equivalent license from another state
- Provide proof of eligibility
