Minnesota 30-Hour Salesperson Prelicense Course I (30-Credit Hours Live Online Classroom) -- In Course I, you will learn the basics, the principles, and the language of real estate. You will get the facts you need to pass the Minnesota Real Estate Exam, as well as lay an important foundation to last your entire career. Because the material in Course I is highly concentrated, your books will be shipped to you so you may begin reading prior to the first class meeting. Course I is currently offered in a live online format where you can earn your licensing credits right from the comfort of your own home!
This course has been approved by the Minnesota Commissioner of Commerce for real estate prelicense education.

Minnesota Real Estate Prelicense Exam Prep (Live Online Classroom) - This course is the best way to get in gear to take your licensing exam. It uses diagnostic practice exams, lectures, quizzes, and over 800 sample questions in the course workbook to prepare you for success on test day. This course should be completed as soon as possible after completing Course I. You will want to take your state licensing exam within a few days of completing the Exam Prep course.

Textbooks—Upon enrollment, you will be shipped the following textbooks to supplement your OnDemand course and exam prep: Modern Real Estate Practice, Modern Real Estate Practice Workbook, and Minnesota Real Estate Principles, Minnesota Real Estate Exam Prep Workbook, and National Real Estate Exam Prep Workbook.

The Interactive Study Group covers all the state and national licensing content in live webinars. Join our expert faculty and other students for a lively discussion of topics. Prepare any questions you may have and bring them to the study groups; the goal is to keep you on track to finish your education, reinforce key concepts covered in your courses, and provide the opportunity for you to interact with our faculty and learn from other students. These instructor-led webinars are held every Thursday from 7-9 pm CT.

Career Mentor Live Online Connect—Learn how to be successful in your career from a real estate industry expert, ask questions, interact, and exchange ideas with your fellow classmates.  This prepares you with career focused tips, tools, and processes taking your education to a higher level so you are prepared for your role in the real estate profession. These instructor-led webinars are held Mondays from 6:00–7:00 pm CT.

Virtual Classroom Exam Proctoring Included! Once you have completed all your coursework, you may schedule your final exam with our qualified virtual proctors.

IMPORTANT: The Minnesota Department of Commerce requires that all students attending a live online class have their webcams enabled and that students remain in view of their camera for the entire duration of the class. Kaplan also requires the use of Zoom for live online classes. You must have Zoom downloaded and installed on your computer/laptop, and you must have a Zoom account.
