According to the EPA 2008 Lead Rule, anyone who disturbs greater than 20 square-feet of lead based paint on an exterior wall; or disturbs an area greater than 6 square-feet of interior paint per room needs to be trained in lead safe work practices. This hands-on course will walk you through job set up, lead-safe construction techniques, and the proper methods for jobsite clean-up and verification.

The Lead Based Paint Renovation, Repair and Painting Program fulfills the mandatory eight-hour EPA training requirement, and has been approved for accreditation by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency as well as the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry for contractor continuing education.

Upon successful course completion you will be able to ensure overall compliance with the EPA RR&P Program, including:
