As a Licensed Residential Appraiser in Wisconsin, you will be allowed to appraise non-complex, one- to four-unit residential properties having a transaction value of less than $1,000,000. Under this license classification, you will also be licensed to appraise complex one- to four-unit residential properties having a transaction value of less than $250,000.
In order to become a Licensed Appraiser in Wisconsin, you must complete 150 hours of approved education (Apprentice Appraiser and Licensed Appraiser Education). You must also complete 2,000 hours of appraisal experience in no less than 12 months. In addition, you must pass the state licensing exam.
