As a Trainee Real Property Appraiser in Minnesota, you will operate under a supervising Certified Appraiser. Your license will allow you to perform appraisals on properties that your supervising appraiser is qualified and permitted to appraise by his or her current credentials.
No experience is required in order to earn your Minnesota Trainee Real Property Appraiser license. You must complete 75 creditable class hours and pass the Minnesota Real Property Appraiser Exam. Once you complete your courses and are licensed, you are required to operate under the direct supervision of a state-certified supervising appraiser, in good standing. For more information, view the Minnesota State Appraisal Licensing Requirements page.
If you’ve completed the required education but still need to pass the exam, check out our How to Pass the Minnesota Real Property Appraiser Exam prep class. Your courses are offered by Brightwood Career Institute, Harrisburg.
